Zijn vader is de keurhengst Guidam (ex Adagio IV). Onder het zadel van Eric van der Vleuten boekte Guidam succes in de internationale springsport. Het duo won belangrijke proeven in o.a. Mechelen, Bordeaux, Eindhoven, Zelhem en ’s Hertogenbosch. Tijdens de international Stallion Show in Zwolle werd Guidam uitgeroepen tot 'Best Stallion' in de 1m40-rubriek. Guidam leverde uitstekende nationale en internationale springpaarden zoals Authentic (Beezie Madden), Luidam (Billy Twomey), Ninja (Giorgio Nuti), Cow Boy (Keri Potter-Pessoa), Armani (Jeffrey Wells), Matahab (Katharina Offel), Nidam (Alberto Vitali), en Luron (Jacek Zagor). Guidam overleed in augustus 2008. Zijn moeder is Jura van St. Maarten. Deze dochter van Nimmerdor werd in 1997 te Gesves Kampioene van België bij de vierjarigen. Ze is de moeder van de goedgekeurde dekhengsten Thunder v/d Zuuthoeve en Wunder Boy v/d Zuuthoeve. Beide Argentinus-zonen presteren op 1m40 – 1m50-niveau. De grootmoeder is Landlady. Deze Holsteinse merrie gaat in de moederlijn terug op Bühne (Holsteinse stam 8769). Bekende namen zoals Castor, Come On en Fleur Z voeren Bühne-bloed. Voltaire v/d Zuuthoeve. Gekeurd SBS als enige met A op model en bewegen en A op springen onder de man. Voltaire v /d Zuuthoeve is de 3e geboren zoon uit Jura van St. Maarten. Zijn halfbroers zijn Thunder en Wunder Boy van de Zuuthoeve. Voltaire werd kampioen om zijn natuurlijke wijze van springen - altijd dezelfde sprong en zijn chic exterieur.
